Okay, this is just for fun. I found a cool plugin for Movable Type, the blogging software I use this website. It is called "Jive." With it I can apply several formats to an entry. Well, here are a couple of more recent shots of Emerie, for those of you who haven't seen her in awhile. The top picture was shot about a week ago & the bottom one was shot about an hour ago. She has been smiling a LOT more & even talking some. If you're really lucky you can catch her laughing in her sleep (which right now Andrea is the only one that has been that lucky).

Okay. First of all I apologize for not having post anything for three weeks. Those of you who know what youth ministry summer schedules are like will likely understand. We just got back a week ago from a 8-day trip to Glorieta, New Mexico, for Centrifuge 2003, our summer youth camp. It was an unbelievable week! It was a long trip, though, and has taken me about that many days to recover since we've been home. Here's a brief update on what's happening with the Ediger family ...

Emerie and mom just got back from her two month check-up at the doctor's office. She weighed in at 13 lbs. 15 oz. & is 24 1/4".

It finally happened! Emerie began smiling this week. We were lucky enough to capture a few shots (check them out in the "Smiling Baby" album [not currently active]) ... right now you have to work pretty hard to get a smile out of her, but she seems to be doing it more & more as each day goes by.
