We finally got Emerie's 3 1/2 month pictures in the mail the other day. We had them taken at Sears last month and they turned out wonderful! Check out all five of the pictures in her "3 1/2 Month" album [not currently active]in the gallery.

Josiah is now in a "Dad" phase - that is, all he wants to do sit by Dad, eat what Dad eats, do what Dad does, etc. Last Thursday he came home from school saying that he wanted his hair spiked like Dad's. So, I took him into the bathroom & gave him a mini-makeover - fixing his hair like I attempt to fix mine everyday. The above pic is the result. The difference - he has great hair, like his mom, while I'm losing mine.

First of all, I'm hoping to take some pictures & post them in the next week or so. I know that many of you would rather see Emerie & the boys than read my little blurbs. I should have snapped a shot or two of Emerie last night. We got the high chair out of storage & cleaned it up so that she could sit with the family during dinner now. Last night was the first night she's sat in it & it was huge on her! It was quite a contrast to the normal feeling that she has been getting so big so quickly - but the high chair just engulfed her. I was going to try and feed her while we ate, but she was too excited to be there to let me. She kept grinning & looking around the room. I think she's felt left out swinging in her baby swing while we've eaten in the dining room.

Everybody is pretty well now. Emerie still has a lingering cough and is not 100%, but she's getting better. I sat on my butt all weekend & watched football & tried to rest my voice. It worked as I had my voice back Sunday morning to preach. I have to admit that I almost blew it watching the Sooners on Saturday night!

Well, it looks like our family is back on the upswing. I'm feeling a lot better today & my voice is probably 75% back. Emerie is still coughing, but is sounding better than she has for the past several days. Hopefully we'll be back to full health in a day or two. OU - Alabama tonight & Chiefs - Chargers tomorrow! Woohoo!

Well, it looks like my efforts to avoid getting sick like the boys has failed. I've been fighting symptoms for several days now, but last night I finally felt like I was sick (instead of feeling like I was getting sick). Emerie developed a nasty cough yesterday as well. She and Andrea just got home from the doctor & it looks like she has the same thing both of the boys had. I'm home for the day, hoping to rest up over the next few days so I will be well by Sunday. Rich will be out-of-town so I will be preaching Sunday AM & Stephen will be preaching Sunday PM.
