Happy Birthday to Si

Posted by Chris

We had a great time at Josiah's birthday party last night. Si had five friends from school & church here, as well as his Papa & Mimi, his brother Micah & Amber Cramer, a friend of the family. It was a "Hot Wheels" theme party, complete with race car cake, "Pin the Car on the Racetrack," and a mean game of "Red Light, Green Light." He got a lot of great presents, including many Hot Wheels cars & accessories (he & his brother are at the computer right now playing their new Hot Wheels game that their friend Josh gave them). We let them stay up about an hour past their bedtime last time & played several rounds of Uno Attack - which is a really run game if you haven't played before!

Josiah’s Birthday Rescheduled

Posted by Chris

Well, after much discussion we've switched Si's birthday party from Saturday to Friday night. There were too many people that weren't going to be able to come on Saturday. It's now set for Friday night, Jan 30th, from 5:30-7:00 pm. It will be a "Hot Wheels" birthday party.

Micah’s 4th Birthday Party

Posted by Chris

Today we celebrated Micah's 4th birthday. He was so excited! He's been counting down the days for the past ten days or so. This morning the first words out of his mouth were, "It's my birthday!" At one point he also said "I can't believe it's my birthday!" Pretty cute. He had lots of fun playing pin the carrot nose on the snowman and being the first to pull all the pieces to their snowman out of the bag (you might have noticed he had a snowman party). We were juggling 2 cameras and a video camera so it appears that the cake and decoration pics and pics from the games are on the 'old fashioned' camera - you know - the one with actual film! After a day of playing castle, Twister, Rescue Heroes, and basketball, the kid crew was worn out. It was a fun day. I have to say that Micah truly enjoyed his birthday - he was a joy to watch!

Moving In …

Posted by Chris

Welcome to [the future home of] theedigers.com!

Well, we're in the process of moving in our new site. Hopefully in the next week or two we'll have "theedigers.com" registered and the process will be complete. For now, (as many of you might have discovered) when you attempt to visit babyemerie.com you'll wind up here. We've been looking to expand Emerie's web site to be more all-inclusive of family news. That's what this site will become over the course of the next several months. We're actually using a new hosting service called TypePad, which will take a lot of the 'behind-the-scenes' maintenance out of our hands, allowing us to simply focus on sharing news, photos, & information about our lives with those who are interested. Until the new domain is registered & functioning, you can continue to go to babyemerie.com to visit the site. The name will still work until the end of April. After that you'll have to change your bookmarks/links to www.theedigers.com.
