Daddy’s Little Helper

Posted by Chris

Emerie helping Daddy mow the lawn

I brought something new to my office today to hang next to the other drawings the kids have made me. This one is an outline of Emerie's hand that she did this past Sunday at church. Apparently they were talking about how to be helpers as the sheet is labeled "We are helpers - 2 Cor. 1:24" at the top, and her name, along with the rest of the family's names are listed on her "fingers." Underneath is a list of how she helps others in her family, as told from her to her teachers:

  • I help clean up my room

  • I help pick up my toys

  • I help Daddy mow the yard

The picture above is an old one (from two years ago, I believe) - but you still get the point of how she 'helps' Daddy mow the yard :-)
