Daily Weekly Monthly (minus 7 days) Post

Well, it took TiVo punching in the wrong channel this week to record Smallville, which forced me to hop on the Internet to find this week's episode to download, which gave me time on my hands waiting for it to transfer, and Andrea going to bed which finally forced me to post something here. It's just one of those things that has gotten away from me over the course of the last several weeks. I can still remember (sort of) some of the things I was going to post for Si's birthday - and that has been two weeks ago already! Man, time sure does fly.
We haven't been too busy, although we have had quite a bit of company over the last few weeks. Dad was in town (Allen) for a work conference on Josiah's birthday, so we got to see him for a couple of nights, including coming over to eat cake with us that night. Our friend Cheryl & her son Jonathan decided to make a short-notice weekend trip the next weekend - which was fun. And then our friend Alec flew in last weekend. It's been nice to see familiar faces as we're definitely in that 'missing the familiarity and faces' phase of the move. What's funny is that we know exactly what we are experiencing because this isn't the first move we've gone through this year! Okay, won't even go down that road - makes me exhausted just thinking about the double-move. I won't try and catch you up on everything, but will, instead, give you a short synopsis of some of the things happening in our lives:
That's about all my tired brain can conjure up. Please feel free to email us at
if you'd like to know anything else or just to chat with us. Hopefully it won't be another 3 weeks before I sit down and do this again.

I won't try and catch you up on everything, but will, instead, give you a short synopsis of some of the things happening in our lives:
- Josiah lost one of his top front baby teeth. He's due to lose the other one any day now.
- We've pretty much found a church that we will probably join this Sunday or next - we love it! We'd love to bring any of you who come to visit us!
- I'm coding away at the redesign of the True Love Waits website right now at work. Really secondary part of my job, but the student ministry site is on hold right now temporarily so it's given me a little time to work on some other projects.
- We've made some good friends - Craig & Barbara. Craig is the Internet Producer (same as me) for Pastors at LifeWay. Barbara is our realtor who found us our home (which we love!).
- Emerie is talking up a storm. Seems she is speaking new phrases (yes, you heard me right - phrases, not words everyday. I've told some of you that I'll try to get some footage to post here if I can motivate myself to sit down long enough to work it out.
- Mercy is Mercy - enjoying being a house dog again - we're enjoying having her clean up after Emerie's meals
- The boys have made neighborhood friends their age & play outside with them almost everyday
- The boys are also enjoying their respective schools
