Harry Got the Vote

We had a great time last night on my 'Week-After-Birthday Date!' After reading through some online reviews we decided to go see the new Harry Potter movie & man were we not disappointed! I would have to say that it was the best movie I've seen in a long time. It was very entertaining & I don't think there was one thing in the movie that I didn't enjoy. After the movie we ate at Johnny Carino's & then went to Barnes & Noble afterwards for dessert & coffee. It was nice to have a big date & not have to drive half an hour or more to do all of these things. Living in a big city definitely has its advantages along with its shortcomings.

Harry Potter? I thought that was supposed to be on the evil side. Please educate me...again.
Miss you all here, but glad you are adjusting well there.
Give my love to Andrea & the kids.

I crossed that bridge about the time the first movie came out. I’d suggest two great reads on the subject ...What’s a Christian to Do With Harry Potter? a book by Connie Neal
Secondary Worlds and Primary Beliefs - an article by Mike PerschonI read Connie Neal’s book a few years back & found it to be the most balanced approach to Harry Potter from a Biblical perspective than anything else I had seen out there. Good job of giving both positions (for & against) with evidence for both. The Mike Perschon article came across my inbox just two weeks ago. I think he does a good job of summing up how we feel about the movies (and other similar movies).
