It’s Official

Posted by Chris

Well, it's been a good week. I think this week was the first that I really began to feel like I was hitting a groove at the new jobI've been training & getting used to the new business over the first couple of weeks. This week I started to get a little more organized and actually had my first 'unofficial' sale yesterday afternoon! It's unofficial because we still have a couple of things to take care of & they are checking with a couple of people on their end, but it's probably 95% a done deal (if I don't jinx it by typing this). The cool part is that it is with our new church, Bridgeway. I got hooked up with them last week as wanting to redesign their web site. I met with the office manager last week, talked back & forth with her this week & presented our proposal yesterday afternoon. It feels good to feel like I'm beginning to contribute to Multiply. We've had some good friends visit this week. Tuesday Jeff & Lexie Joseph came over for dinner & visited for awhile. Jeff had a computer conference to go to in the city on Wednesday, so Lexie & the kids spent the day at the Ediger house before going home to El Dorado, KS that evening. Last night our good friends Mark & Trish Davis came to town & spent the night at our house. They spent the day at the house today, will spend the night again tonight & then Mark is singing in his grandmother's wedding tomorrow afternoon. My dad & Cheryl are coming into town tomorrow evening & will stay with us through my birthday on Sunday. I think that Andrea's dad Gary is going to possibly go with all of us to Bridgeway Sunday morning as well. Not sure yet how we will spend the day after that. I think Andrea & I are going to wait until next week to celebrate together.

All in all it has been a really good week. Good week at work - good week with friends. I'm looking forward to this weekend. Hope you & yours enjoy your weekend as well!
