More about bacon

There is a landmark of sorts near here called Rice's Country Hams or affectionately known as 'The Ham Store'. Evidently it is "Tennessee's Finest Award Winning" country hams. They have this marquee outside their store (for a pic see: www.ricecountryhams.com/aboutus.html). The last couple of weeks the marquee says only one word (you guessed it) - bacon. We pass it going to and from church, to get our haircut, etc. Micah loves it. I've got to remember to take the camera and get his picture in front of it.
Remember how I told you that Micah likes to answer 'bacon' to any question at any given random time when he doesn't know the answer or simply to be funny? Tonight it paid off. The kids and I were playing Family Fun by Cranium. Micah and I (same team) drew a card where it shows close up pictures of three items that you try to determine and name. We examine the card. First off I recognize the middle pic. "An egg," I declare. Si: "That's one!" We look some more. Micah declares, "Bacon!" Si: "That's right!" We look again. Sure enough - one of the pictures was a close up pic of bacon. He didn't see it. I didn't see it. He just said it. The three of us had a big laugh. Emerie laughed too, but she didn't know or care why - she just laughed for the sake of laughing. Three year olds are great at that. For those of you who have to know what the last close up pic was on the card - it was a cup of coffee. Mmmm.... breakfast is sounding really good right about now.
