My (Now-) Weekly Update
Posted by Chris

I think I've finally realized that I'm going to be getting these updates out about once a week now. For now I'll plan on updating every Monday & we'll see how that will work (if anyone is reading this anymore). Actually - do me a favor & let me know that you're still reading babyemerie.com to keep up with the Ediger clan post a comment on this entry (click on "Comments" below). If we have anything that happens between Mondays I'll do my best to post it. Now on to today's entry ... Today has been a really good day. Josiah went to Day Camp all day, Andrea & Emerie went to Tulsa with Heather Heslip, & I took the day off to spend with just me & Micah. Micah & I loaded up on the bike & went riding all morning: first to Blockbuster to return some movies, then to LeClere Park to feed the ducks, then to Pizza Hut to eat lunch (Micah's choice). We picked up an XBox game at Blockbuster & headed home to play. By the time he woke up from his nap in the afternoon it was time to pick up Josiah from the church. Si's now playing the game while I type this & Micah watches.
We took the fam last week to Kidsfest at Woolaroc in Bartlesville, OK. I think it was the first day of this 7-10 day festival, and it must have been "Day Care Day" because there were tons of Day Care groups there from as far away as Tulsa. It was kind of crazy with that many kids there, but enjoyable nonetheless. We hiked around some, the kids played some games, we had some shaved ice, etc.
I spent most of the last week finishing up my writing assignment from LifeWay. This week will be just as busy as the last as I'll have only 3 days instead of 4 during the week to get done what I usually get done each week. We have our Saturday evening service this Saturday so I'll have worship band rehearsal & then I'll also preach (Rich is leaving on vacation at the end of the week). Centrifuge, our summer youth camp in Glorieta, New Mexico, starts on the 11th & ends on the 18th. It looks like we won't have much of a break until the end of July, and then not a 'real' break until our summer youth schedule comes to an end at the end of August.
Drop us a line, either by emailing us (caediger@usa.com) or dropping us a comment on this entry. I'll try and post more pictures (Emerie is getting so big!) when I get a chance - maybe later in the week. Here's one more to tie you over until then:
