Emerie was playing with the boys' Imaginext pirate toys in our room. She held up a pirate wearing a helmet of some sort. "What's this?" she asked. "A pirate," I replied. "What is it?" I asked her to reinforce what I had just said. "A pirate," she repeated. She then pulled the helmet off revealing a pirate with a long beard and long brown hair tied in a knot of some sort in the back. I asked, "Who is that?" "Jesus," Emerie replied. I chuckled and said, "No, honey, that's not Jesus. That's a pirate," to which she answered, "Pirate Jesus." I guess that's that.

Josiah stood in our dining room over our garage and announced, "I can feel the garage door hibernating under my feet." Vibrating... hibernating... whatever.
