Well, looks like Andrea came down with the stomach bug that our kids have been fighting all this week. The boys both are feeling better after both catching it on Wednesday. My sweet wife told me she was sick when I woke up for work this morning - she had been sick several times during the night and had gone down to the hallway bathroom instead of the one in our room so that she wouldn't wake me up. I can't say I'd be so kind - I'd probably be waking her up just to have some company for my misery.

I hate it for her because this has been such an exhausting week for her - keeping up with her regular weekly schedule, homeschooling & also taking care of sick kids. I also hate it for her because she was supposed to leave this afternoon for a weekend planning retreat with some other homeschool moms/friends of hers. :-(

I normally work out-of-the-office on Fridays, so I was already planning on working from home or from Panera (my work home-away-from-home). So, I'm taking a family sick day to take care of Andrea & help with the kids.

Here's praying that I don't come down with it, too, since I'm the only one it hasn't hit. I predict that my hands are going to be raw from washing them after I touch anything today! :-)
