The Bi-Monthly Post

Posted by Chris

Man, I honestly am not getting lazy - things have just been hectic around the Ediger household over the last month - especially the last couple of weeks! After we accepted the LifeWay position we flew to Nashville for a house hunting trip that weekend. We spent 8 hours one day & 12 hours the next visiting homes (some of them several times) before settling on one that we really liked. We put in a bid for a contract & got accepted a few days later. Right now we are in the process of getting the home inspected & appraised, but things look really good. If all goes well this week we're hoping to be able to close on the house either the 15th or 16th with me starting work at LifeWay on the 16th. A representative from the moving company is coming to the house tomorrow to survey things & setup definite pack & move dates. Looks like we'll likely be moving around the 13th-14th of the month.

Last weekend we traveled to Independence, KS, to spend several days with family & friends. We had a great time! Lisa & her boys stayed a couple of days & the kids had a great time playing together! Friday night we went to the King's Coffee company in Dearing to meet-up with friends from First Southern. Saturday we spent the day & evening with Rich, Cheryl & family. We went to church at First Southern on Sunday morning & ate lunch with several families before heading home that afternoon.

Sickness began to set-in Saturday night/Sunday morning & got worse as the day went on. I woke up Monday morning feeling miserable & wound up staying home from work trying to get better. I think all 5 of us are on medication right now for this & the other! Went back to work today & everyone seems to be feeling a little better (although Micah was complaining about his ear hurting).

As soon as we feel pretty definite about the house in TN we'll get utilities/phone, etc. ready to set-up & post our new address/contact info here. Be praying that everything with the house goes through well & for our family as we hit the last couple of weeks before the big move.
