We went to Shawnee last night to trick-or-treat with Andrea's dad, Gary. It was so much fun! I don't think we had ever gone door-to-door trick-or-treating before with the kids. Normally, in Coffeyville, we would go to the annual church carnival & then take them around to several of our friend's houses to trick-or-treat. Josiah was Clark Kent, Micah was Cowboy Micah, and Emerie was Winnie the Pooh. We were surprised at how much Emerie took to the whole thing. I think after watching her brothers hit the first house she started telling her Poppy that she wanted to get down (as he was holding her) and she started walking toward the house! From that house one we would carry her, set her down as we approached the house & let her walk up with her pumpkin basket to get candy. I'm not sure, but I think she might have actually gotten more candy than her brothers (who could resist such a cute little girl?)! We had a lot of fun.

The boys are dancing around the room as I'm typing this listening to "Flip Flops" by "Paul Wright" on the stereo. They're having a pretty good time. Normally I'd welcome them getting themselves worn out, but as we're needing to get ready to go to Bridgeway I'd better get them upstairs & get dressed.
