Well, I thought I'd better post something here before everyone began to wonder if we had fallen off the face of the earth altogether. It has been a good, but crazy, week for the Ediger family. The week has been an adjustment all around - from me adjusting to my new job to Andrea adjusting to having me 25 minutes away instead of just next door. That coupled with continuing to unpack & get our house in order has made for one not-so-normal week. All in all it has been good, though. I had actually sat down last night & typed out this post & then hit a wrong key & lost it all. I was too tired to fight it, so I went on to bed & thought I'd post something today instead. We actually took the night pretty much off last night. We got some ice cream from Braums & rented a few movies. Watched a Tom & Jerry flick with the kids & then Andrea & I watched Cheaper By the Dozen by ourselves in bed. It was nice to relax instead of working non-stop on the house.

My job has been good. We are in the process of restructuring the business from a strictly web design firm to more of a technology partnering firm. We will consult with businesses & help them utilize their existing hardware/software to do business more efficiently, while also helping them acquire & train on new technologies. We will offer web design and graphics/print work as well. In addition we will offer sales techology training. The redesign is responsible for my new position which will be helping be the frontend of the company to the public: finding & interacting with new business. Partly sales/marketing, but more than this as well. It's going to be good. I work with a great Christian guy named Jason. It will be good to seek to be salt/light in the marketplace with this new venture.

We have checked with some of the house churches at Bridgeway & planned on attending one this week. The church is actually not meeting Sunday due to Memorial Day weekend & most of the house churches are off for the same reason. I'm not sure how many are active during the summer months as some of them take those few months off from meeting together. We'll do more checking & probably just start coming on Sunday to the celebration times for now.

I think that's about it. Sorry it has taken this long to put any update on here. They really will be more frequent from here on out, especially as we continued to get settled in our new surroundings.
